Saturday, October 6th
This morning before our arrival, we will be served a breakfast snack on-board the airplane. Upon our arrival into the Dublin Airport, we will be met by our driver/guide and brought to our private coach. We will drive through the city and enjoy a PANORAMIC TOUR OF DUBLIN. Although Dublin has blossomed into a modern, bustling city, it still retains the graceful, charmed atmosphere of an earlier time. The Georgian squares, terraces, and the walk along River Liffey are evidence of this. Following our tour, we will arrive at our hotel where we will check in and relax. The remainder of the afternoon is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. Tonight we will enjoy a special "welcome dinner" at our hotel before retiring for the evening. B, D
Sunday, October 7th
This morning we will have a hearty Irish breakfast and then board our coach and head for the heathery hills of the Wicklow Mountains and the beautiful Garden of Ireland, COUNTY WICKLOW. We will drive through the quaint village of ENNISKERRY to GLENDALOUGH where St. Kevin founded his 6th Century monastic settlement. We will spend some time walking around the ruins and remains of the old church and cemetery before boarding our motor coach and traveling to the town of AVOCA. Here we will see a sample of the Irish textiles with a visit to a weaving and spinning mill. There will be time to enjoy shopping and lunch on our own before we drive back to Dublin. Tonight, Karen will teach a class for all of us to enjoy. B
Monday, October 8th
This morning, following breakfast, you will have the entire day to enjoy Dublin at your leisure. Maybe you will visit the Guinness Brewery, the Book of Kells, St. Patrick's Cathedral, or you may just board a hop on-hop off bus and go from place to place and enjoy a leisurely day of relaxing. Don't forget, Dublin offers some incredible shopping, so be sure you visit the very popular Grafton Street. Tonight, Ali will teach a class for all of us to enjoy. B

This morning after breakfast, we say goodbye to Dublin as we check out of our hotel and travel south to KILLARNEY. Along the way we will stop for a photo stop at the incredible Rock of Cashel. We will continue on until we arrive in the well-known village of BLARNEY. Here we'll have a chance (for a nominal fee) to kiss the famed Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle. We will also visit and explore the Blarney Woolen Mills, renowned for Irish crystal, china, woolen clothing, and all sorts of wonderful souvenir items. In the later part of the afternoon, we will arrive in the city of KILLARNEY and check into our hotel. The remainder of the evening is at your leisure. Tonight we will enjoy an evening class with Ali. B
Wednesday, October 10th
This morning, after a full Irish breakfast, for those who are interested we will depart on an "optional" tour of the rugged Dingle Peninsula. Film goers will be reminded of scenes from the movie, "Ryan's Daughter," which was shot in this area, as we drive past little harbors and wide stretches of sandy beach, leading southward to Slea Head. This is the most westerly point in Europe, also known as "the next parish to America." Vistas of the Blasket Islands and Dingle Bay delight the eye and Gallarus Oratory, a little beehive stone structure, more than 1,000 years old, conjures up visions of monks in early Christian times in this "land of saints and scholars." We will return to Killarney later in the afternoon. The rest of the afternoon is free to enjoy as you please. One of the most popular attractions you could try (for a nominal fee) here in Killarney, is a Jaunting Cart ride! Tonight after dinner we will enjoy a class with Karen. B, D

In the late afternoon, we will arrive into GALWAY, check into our hotel, and enjoy the rest of the evening on our own. Tonight, for those who are intersted, we invite you to join us for an optional dinner and Riverdance show by Trad on the Prom. B
